Intern. Tulip Guerrilla Garding Day
On 9 October guerrilla gardeners will be burying tulip bulbs all over the place. A colourful little surprise, easy to plant, unnecessary to tend, just ticking away during winter ready to burst into spring time colour next year, and year after year (if it's not too soggy).
Step beyond your boundaries, splurge the promise of colour out there on a far from remarkable patch of land, a solo mission or a regimented march through your neighbourhood. You get the idea. A sorry looking verge, an empty tree pit, something that won't be mowed or strimmed over winter, and get digging.
